Eligibility Criteria for NEET-2020, The eligibility criteria for the NEET are based on Graduate Medical Education Act 1997 regulations. Candidates must be eligible for the NEET as given failure which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. For All India and state counseling, the NEET admission criteria and cutoff of MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses will be different.
|Nationality||Citizens of India, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and Foreign National are eligible to take Neet.|
|Age Criteria for NEET||Candidates who are 17 Years on 31 Dec 19 are eligible and Upper Age not Fixed.|
|Category wise Qualification Required for NEET||Candidates Passed 10 + 2 with Science and Each Subject Min. 50 % marks Obtained & OBC/SC/ST 40 % marks and PWD Candidates 45 % marks required.|

|Biology an extra subject||Can also apply, However this clause in sub judicial|
|Reservation Criteria under Central or State||Candidates who apply for all India quota must fall under center reservation list, and Statewise counseling they are eligible, for apply if they are from reserved category of state.|
|For EWS Category Eligibility||Requirements for NEET under EWS should not be taken by SCs, STs and OBCs Family have a gross annual income below Rs 8 lakhs including all sources of income, Total Agriculture land 5 Acres above, Residential Ares 1000 sqft above, Residential Plots 100 sq yards abv. other than notifying Municipalities. Property held by a Family in different locations or different places/cities would be clubbed|
The family includes the candidate, his / her parents, and siblings below the age of 18 years as also his/her spouse & children below the age of 18 years
Candidates must submit a certificate to the effect during NEET counseling.
