Qualification Required
Master’s Degree in Physical Sciences with Experience in Science Communication & Science Outreach. Excellent Written Communication Skills in English in Science Writing/Journalism. Proficiency in Rewriting Copy / Editorial Review, TO ENSURE QUALITY & Accuracy of Written Communications. Ability to Distill Complex Ideas to the Lay Public/Non-Scientist. VIDEO RECORDING, Editing. Expertise in Handling Social Media.
Desirable: Ph.D. in Physical Science.
Upper Age Limit: 45 Years, on the Closing Date for Application.
JOB-Description
Outreach Activities: Publicise, Plan & Successfully Conduct a variety off-and-on-campus outreach activities. This Includes Coordinating: School & College Student visits to RRI Campus, Popular Lectures & Other Events, Like National Science Day, & International Women’s DAY, etc.;
Academic Events: Organise, Plan & Drive, Events Such as Conference, workshops & other celebrations. Prepare Comprehensive reports of these events.
Organize and Conduct Publicity Drive via “Press-Release” & Other Means of Sharing major research results & important events to newspaper & Online Platforms;
Maintain & Update News Stories & Events on the RRI Websites.
Post-Regular News on Updates on Social Media, Like- FB, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube Etc;
Assist in the Creation of Annual Reports, Brouchers, Brand Firms, Photoshoots, Posters, Etc;
And Any Other Requirements & that may arise over time;
The Job Profiles Involve a Lot of Communication, with Scientists, Engineers & members of Administration. The Incumbent Should have, Good Interpersonal Skills, with a Pleasant & Vibrant Personality. The Incumbent is expected to Creatively Showcase the Institute Research.
